Alumni Leadership Council
MISSION
The mission of the NYU Stern Real Estate Alumni Leadership Council, established in 2023, is to support Stern’s real estate alumni community and the Chen Institute’s student and alumni programming. By fostering engagement between Stern, its alumni and current students, the Council will maintain programming to serve the needs of the Stern real estate community. The Council seeks to create professional and personal relationships among alumni to share ideas, business opportunities, and facilitate network building globally.
NYU STERN REAL ESTATE ALUMNI COUNCIL MEMBERS
Our most actively engaged alumni are invited to join the Council to help guide and shape the future of our alumni programming. Members of the Council are instrumental in developing strategies to support NYU Stern’s real estate students, alumni, and faculty. The Chen Institute and Council will work closely together to support Stern Real Estate Alumni across all stages of their careers, build a more robust, accurate, and activated alumni network, and enhance the real estate resources available at Stern.
Council members will assist in developing event-driven programming, provide mentorship for students, and participate as guest speakers.
We are delighted to share that Christina Chiu, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer at Empire State Realty Trust, and John Lippmann, Head of Structured Debt at New York Life Real Estate Investors and Portfolio Manager of the Madison Square Structured Debt Fund, are the inaugural co-chairs of the Council.
