Biography

Paolo Martellini joined New York University Stern School of Business as an Assistant Professor of Economics in August 2024. He conducts research in macroeconomics, labor economics, and urban economics.

Before joining NYU Stern, he was an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a junior scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.

He received his BSc in Economics from the University of Pisa, his MSc in Economics from Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, and his PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
