Professor Navin Manglani joined NYU Stern as Adjunct Professor in 2017. Professor Manglani is currently teaching Programming in Python and Dealing with Data to MBA students and Information Technology in Business & Society and Digital Marketing to Undergraduates.
Professionally, Professor Manglani runs Nimbus Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on post-seed startups with a focus on technology. Professor Manglani also runs Numberscape Consulting, a data analytics consulting firm that consults with a number of businesses (ranging from Fortune 500 companies to startups) on data strategy, data analytics, data mining, data visualization, web analytics and text mining. Prior to consulting, Professor Manglani served as a Director of Strategy & Analytics at American Express where he managed a team of data analysts and managers and completed several high priority data initiatives. Prior to American Express, Professor Manglani was the Managing Director of IE Industries Fashions where he sourced and implemented advanced information systems and software to drive sales, streamline operations and provide business insights.
Professor Manglani earned his BA summa cum laude from Yale University in 2000 and his MBA from Columbia Business School in 2002, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
