Frederick C. Militello, Jr., is a well-known practitioner and thought leader in the fields of global banking, financial markets and the leadership development of banking professionals and corporate financial executives around the globe. He is committed to the profession, its advancement and future transformation as a positive source of sustainable global growth and prosperity.
Frederick has held numerous senior executive positions on Wall Street, has been a founder of financial and educational advisory firms, a leading advisor to major corporations and financial organizations in the formulation of their financial and risk management strategies, a highly-published author in a wide range of leadership and technical competencies, and a well-respected proponent of financial ideas for the advancement of the banking profession -- holding guest and adjunct professorships at some of the leading business schools in the world; the latter including the Rotterdam School of Business and the Vlerick Gent Leuven School of Business.
After leaving graduate school, he went on to work for Chase Manhattan Bank, NA. He began his employment working his way through the credit side of the business, to eventually heading the bank's international treasury management consulting business (ITMC) as well as the bank's merchant banking operations out of New York and London. While at Chase he held the positions of Vice President, Managing Director and Division Executive.
Frederick -- with a number of colleagues -- founded two Wall-Street based financial advisory/educational companies. These firms served both the corporate world and numerous financial organizations ranging in geographic scope from Australia to Canada, to the US to Western and Eastern Europe. He also worked extensively for US banks in Hong-Kong and Singapore.
Frederick's primary interest is the advancement of the financial profession; and, particularly that of the banking profession. He is also CEO and senior thought leader at Future Change Management LLC -- a firm dedicated to the leadership development of financial executives.
Frederick is also a well-known author. He has written many articles and books in the area of foreign exchange and related accounting and tax practices; however, his more recent works have been in the fields of leadership competencies, financial ethics, the role and responsibilities of financial executives and relationship management practices.
