Biography

Chana Rosenthal is the principal and founder of reDesign Consulting, an apparel focused sustainable business advisory firm. She works with clients on thoughtfully created strategies and frameworks that shift internal business operations to be more sustainable and drive impact across the supply chain. She's done extensive work with the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business and the NYU Stern Center for Business and Human Rights, as well as other organizations and businesses. Prior to consulting, she worked in the corporate sector with significant roles in apparel design at companies such as Ralph Lauren, Michael Kors, and American Eagle/AEO. She employs her design background, corporate sector experience, and sustainability acumen to facilitate long-term resiliency within organizations. Chana is an adjunct professor at NYU Stern, teaching an experiential Sustainability Consulting course using ROSI (Return on Sustainability Investment) methodology out of the Stern Center for Sustainable Business. She serves on the associate council for Delivering Good, a non-profit that distributes excess inventory to those in need through a network of community partners. In addition, she contributes her expertise as an apparel advisor to Responsible Contracting Project and as an academic advisor to ACT, a circular services group. Chana holds an MBA from NYU Stern, specializing in Sustainable Business and Innovation, and Supply Chain Management, and a B.S. in Human Ecology from Ohio State University.
