Center for Global Economy and Business Holds Economic Outlook 2012

On September 10, 2012, the NYU Stern Center for Global Economy and Business, led by Professor Kim Schoenholtz, hosted a panel with three leading economists: David Greenlaw, Chief US fixed income economist, Morgan Stanley; Jan Hatzius, Chief Economist, Goldman Sachs; and Peter Hooper, Chief Economist, Deutsche Bank. Each member of the panel presented an outlook on the economy, and then Prof. Schoenholtz moderated a panel where they discussed a broad range of issues relating to the US monetary and fiscal policy, Europe and China and took questions from the audience of Stern students.
The Center for Global Economy and Business promotes faculty research focusing on global aspects of modern economies and business. It also encourages faculty development in various areas of special interest to the University and the global economy, while serving Stern and the University through outreach to the broader community including the academic, business and policy worlds, as well as students and alumni.
