MBA Students Take "Doing Business in… Australia" Course
—
In January, a group of MBA students traveled to Sydney for the “Doing Business in (DBi) Australia” course. Students attended lectures at the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of New South Wales, studying topics ranging from the financial sector and the intersection of government and business, to business norms in Australia. They then attended corporate visits with representatives from Qantas and Hunter Valley Winery and braved new heights with the Sydney Harbor Bridge Climb.
“The world's economy is more global today than it has ever been,” said MBA student Jimi Oh. “I firmly believe it is crucial for a future business leader to have a good understanding of how markets operate in different countries. Australia’s future economic potential is strong due to its proximity to Asian countries, and DBi Australia was a great introduction to the past, current and future states of the Australian economy.”
